Pečuj and Ričice tunnels are one of several tunnels currently planned to be realized in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the highway Koridor 5C. Due to their location, they will be one of the first tunnels on that corridor to be constructed. Being on the same highway and divided only by a Ričice bridge in between, both tunnels are highly correlated, mandating coordination in the design development process.
Pečuj tunnel is 9.7 meters wide and 870 m long and consists of two tunnel tubes connected with one emergency passage. Each tunnel tube has two lines 3.5 meters wide. Ričice tunnel has a total length of 526 meters and consists of two tunnel tubes. Each tunnel tube has two lines 3.5 meters wide.
BEXEL’S ACTIVITIES
Our partner IRGO consulting included Bexel in the design process, where we provided our own BIM design development and modelling solution for tunnels – Infrastructor, as well as our experience in BIM development.
