Bexel Consulting, as a Lead partner of a Joint Venture cooperation with AIMC GmbH, developed Feasibility Study for the construction of a new University Children’s Hospital (UCH) „Tiršova 2“ in Belgrade, Serbia. The final goal is to contribute to the provision of highly specialized health services for children’s medicine at tertiary level, along with the modernization and increase in the efficiency of procedures, rise of quality of services and better use of existing human resources.
The Feasibility Study the construction of a children’s hospital for 286 beds with a total gross floor area of 66.172 sqm, of which 27,860 sqm is garage within four underground levels.
BEXEL’S ACTIVITIES
- Development of functional planning for preparing a functional brief to accommodate the hospital requirements over a 20 years period
- Development of Room and space program
- Development of Technical Program providing technical performance requirements relating to Facility systems and assemblies
- Development of Conceptual and Schematic Design of the hospital in accordance with the international standards.
- Development of IDR (Idejno rešenje), in collaboration with Belgrade Planning Institution (who developed UP (Urbanistički projekat)), PIMO, main city planner office representatives, Institute for roads and other institutions representatives.
- Conceptual design – “IDR” (Idejno rešenje) contains complete concept design, accesses to technologically very complex building, including functional and space organizational plans and solutions. Geometry concept follows specific Belgrade architectural context, as a continuation of the ideas from XX century architectural theory.
- The consultant provided the following reports: Architectural Design Report, Structural and Seismic Design Report and MEP Reports
- Development of BIM (Building Information Model) and BIM reports: Clash detection analysis report, Quantity survey report, with quantities and visualizations produced from the BIM model; initial 4D and 5D simulations of the construction
- Medical Equipment specification based on current needs, oriented toward introduction of new diagnostic-therapeutic methods and the development of scientific research programs
- Development of construction cost estimations using Local Construction Market Prices and quantity surveys
