BEXEL’S ACTIVITIES
Bexel’s scope on this project was to develop a detailed 3D BIM model in order to extract comprehensive Quantity takeoffs for the tendering process. All quantities were measured and organized according to New Rules of Measurement (NMR2) issued by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which was a project requirement. Design review and clash detection analysis were also a part of our scope, performed during the design phase in order to ensure that all inconsistencies are resolved before the final Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings reach the construction site. This helped preventing any delays in the project construction schedule, mitigating risk and ensuring no additional unplanned costs.
