Gasteig is a cultural center in Munich, opened in 1985, which hosts the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, The Richard Strauss Conservatory, the Volkshochschule, and the municipal library are all located in the Gasteig. The City of Munich is planning to renovate the whole complex of an approximate 180,000 m2 making of it a cultural landmark for generations to come.
BEXEL’S ACTIVITIES
Bexel Consulting is included on the project as Quality Controller of all BIM processes as well as of As-Built BIM model of structural works which will, later on, be used as an input for the Designers who are working on new design for renovated Gasteig building complex. All BIM analyses were performed using BEXEL Manager software solution. The following services were provided on the project:
- Joint development of detailed BIM Execution Plan and collaboration procedures with the Client which will be implemented on the project
- Joint development of the BIM Modeling standards and guidelines which should be followed during the project execution
- Regular detailed BIM Quality Control reports consisting of various checklists specially tailored for this project
