The Largest International Meeting of Construction and Maintenance of Pavements in Slovenia.

Slovenian Asphalt Pavement Association (Združenje asfalterjev Slovenije), the main professional association of asphalt professionals in Slovenia, organized the 16th Colloquium: ASPHALT, BITUMEN and PAVEMENTS in Bled, Slovenia, from  November 30^th until December 1^st, 2017.

Among many participants and lecturers, BEXEL Consulting also participated on first day of the conference with a lecture by Mr Veljko Janjić, CEO & Co-Founder of BEXEL Consulting, named “BIM Implementation and Application in Infrastructure” within Section 2 – “New Technologies And Public Procurement”. The lecture focused on the advantages of implementation of BIM standards for infrastructural projects, starting from the benefits enjoyed by all the stakeholders in the project during all stages of the design and construction process. Special attention was directed to the use of BIM paradigms in infrastructure projects and their usefulness for road engineering, rail transportation etc. Finally, BIM platforms, such as BEXEL Consulting’s Infrastructor platform for BIM parametric design of tunnels, were showcased for their use in various construction processes.
